About General Nadi:- The General chapter is include with 1] 1st chapter 2] 13th & 14th chapter.

In the first chapter, you will receive standard predictions, which include your name, parents' names, parents' profession details, siblings, children and spouse, and the general gist of future predictions for all 12 houses.
The 13th chapter contains the remedies for the sins committed in the previous birth and how to get rid of their effects.
In the 14th chapter will be the mantra kandam, which means mantra japam, the wearing of a raksha (talisman) for the avoidance of enemies, troubles, bad effects of people, etc.

The palm leaves are a set of highly organised manuscripts divided into sixteen chapters, or kandams. These Kandams serialise the various aspects of the materialistic and spiritual life of an individual, such as family, marriage, profession, wealth, luck, a relationship between brothers and sisters, etc. Some chapters give details about previous births and sins, and the committed problems and solutions for Atri Maharishi are represented in each separate kandam (2 to 16).

Kandam/Chapter 1 - General

This reading contains the name of the Nadi seeker, his/her life span, how she/he is going to live this life, his/her identity, the name of his/her spouse, names of his/her parents, details about the present profession, his/her brothers, sisters and children. This chapter presents the names of all the siblings of the Nadi seeker. His/her relationships with his/her siblings, problems and ill feelings if any are described. It also provides information about the positive and negative aspects of the relationship with siblings.

Kandam/Chapter 4 - Mother Influence, Assets and Fortune

The 4th Kandam has details about the Mother, the role and influence of Mother in the Nadi seeker’s life, its benefits and problems in his life. There are also details about the Nadi seeker’s House, Vehicles, Land, treasures and general material comforts and achievements.
